Freelance Writer, Content Creator

& Founder of the

Thea Collective

I care and write about all things reproductive health, body politics and sustainability - with a side of intersectional feminism and patriarchy smashing.

clients.

 content.

We all know that great video content can drive sales for your business and awareness for your brand - but not everyone wants to spend their day dancing around on the internet.

Luckily i do.

I can create engaging and entertaining video content for your social media channels that gets laughs, likes and - most importantly - loyal customers.

words.

I’m also a freelance writer who works with brands and publications who have something to say.

Whilst I work across an array of industries, many of my clients are in the reproductive health and wellness space - but less matcha tea and more mental health and the science of self care.

I’m also mad about menstrual cycles and will talk periods and hormones every day of the month.

 Thea.

Thea is a freelance collective helping small brands have big conversations, created in 2020 with my friend and longtime collaborator Tamara Sredojevic.

We bring together talented freelancers to create inclusive and impactful copy, content, web & graphic design and develop brand strategy for progressive businesses.

Our mission is to amplify projects that are effecting positive change, so we work with small businesses who are tackling taboos and shaking shit up.

We can help you shout your mission from the rooftops, add credibility to your voice - and do it all in a perfectly brand-aligned colour palette.

mY STORY.

I moved to London in 2008 to study journalism, with big dreams of becoming the UK’s answer to Carrie Bradshaw. My time at University taught me two things;..

1) How to harness the power of words to evoke emotions and actions in my readers.

2) That the Sex and the City writers must have been smoking the high grade. There is simply no way Carrie was running around town, in designer couture, with the spoils from one weekly newspaper column.

Whilst I’m yet to own even one pair of Manolos, the last 12 years have given me something more valuable than a pair of designer shoes - the ability to diversify my offering as a writer.

I believe language is just as important whether you are writing for a magazine, a website or a social media post - and I enjoy working on all of them. Using words to connect with an audience - and helping brands do the same - is what really makes me tick. I was constantly in trouble for talking too much or passing notes at school, but I’ve somehow managed to make a career out of my incessant love for communication - so bite me, Mr Edgebaston.

When I’m not writing or working, I’m attempting to plan a wedding during a pandemic, making Instagram Reels about reproductive health or talking myself out of verbally disembowelling people who post ‘All Lives Matter’ on Facebook.
